Back to school (in a way)

So I have been in the US for about a week and I've been meeting up with all kinds of people. Its been great to be back and meeting old friends, and yesterday I went back to my old high school, Black Hills High School

Things haven't really changed any here. The place is still standing and it still smells as bad as it used to. I met with a couple of my old teachers, Mr. Street and Mrs. Layton, which was really fun. I ran into Layton in the stairs and she almost had a heart attack...

So now I'm about to head to town and hopefully get some exercise. I haven't been to gym in over a week and I'm punching myself for it. I also have to buy postcards now, as I was stupid/smart enough to say that anyone who wanted one, could get one. The offer is still standing by the way...

In the end I want to point out to our non-Norwegian readers how it looked outside my house in Norway the day before I left. You don't know how good you have it...

So...

Jetlag sucks. It sucks really, really hard. That is all.

In the US...

So I know this is suppose to be a blog about my stay in Australia, but school there doesn't start until February 22nd, which is why I decided to go a slightly different way there and stop in Seattle/Olympia for two weeks.

I finally arrived last night after more than 21 hours of travel. While I normally enjoy travelling, I must say that Icelandair has rarther bad in-flight movies and their seats are about as comfortable as granite. I couldn't sleep for a second for the entire 8-hour flight from Reykjavik. So, I'm here now, jetlagged like all hell and with the obligatory cold (this is because something good is happening to me and the universe has decided to balance things out).

So I'm taking this day to balance myself out and get rested and then use the weekend to (hopefully) have some fun

Ja, så blir et litt reising da...

Ja, man måtte vel nesten opprette en blogg da. Fikk nytt kamera til jul med streng beskjed om å rapportere, og jeg antar at dette er en av de beste måtene å få info hjemover. Fattern blånekter jo å bruke Facebook, så den gikk jo ikke...

Men men... Nå er det da kvelden før avreise. Tar flyet fra Gardermoen, gjennom Keflavik International på Island og lander på SeaTac i Seattle litt utpå ettermiddagen.

Blir i Seattle/Olympia området i to uker og lander i Brisbane rundt 4/5 Februar. Gleder meg til å møte gamle venner herifra. Er jo tross alt en stor del av livet mitt her ettersom jeg tilbrakte et helt år her. Er nå nesten fire år siden jeg dro herfra, noe jeg føler er litt for lenge...

Så, første innlegg dette da. Får se hvor mye det blir etterhvert.
